AVATAR - Extension of my thoughts...

Where do I start from? I have been thinking about the movie from the time I saw it...( last evening)...I could not sleep the whole night as I was in another world, living altogether a different life....

You'll be able to follow this post once you have seen the movie AVATAR..

'AVATAR' the name never gave me a hint about the story...I did not pay any attention to its trailors and did not even bother to find out what made the movie so highly budgeted...Untill, my brother recommended me (after watching its premier in Mumbai in 3D) ...Even then, I was not sure what the story would be all about...I just knew that it had aliens, war-stuff, action and material my father would Enjoy...My father has been a movie lover since his childhood..He tells me how he used to bunk his school for watching movies in those time theatres..heheehe...

We quickly had lunch and went to the multiplex for the afternoon show....The movie began ...First scene...and I said WOW!!! and my eyes were WIDE open for the rest two and half hours...

The movie has various aspects to be reviewed on...But this is how I perceived it in my First view...

A story with a simple message.. Good always wins over Evil..this has been the trend in the past and will be forever...

I wonder from where they got the IDEA !!!.. A great concept I say ...In the movie 'Independence day' they showed our win over the aliens and in 'Avatar',we as aliens, get defeated...I never thought that a plot where we humans(as aliens) will be defeated by the natives of another land will be so evocative...Humans play clever mind games in the movie..but all in vain against love and loyalty of the Na'vi towards their own land...

There is a message of PURITY and TRUTHFULNESS conveyed...
"Never destroy others' world and dreams"...This holds true even in our normal lives as we need to understand others' frame of mind and come to a common solution...Mother Nature is watching us all and she knows how to maintain balance...

"LIVE and LET LIVE" is the message to humanity from Na'vi ... "well done PANDORA!!!"I was about to shout at one scene... :)

PANDORA is like a DREAM WORLD ...with such amazing creatures, lovable indeed. The horse looked all the more majestic with muscular shining skin, six very strong legs and a metallic crest on its protruding head.The mighty flying reptiles swayed with full grace with their colorful wings. The rhinos with hammer-heads were cute.The most interesting thing being the sensory tentacles in all animals that could establish contact with another enabling it to hear the heartbeat and also know the thoughts....

I want to go to PANDORA on my next vacation... It seems that the director was inspired from the deep-sea creatures on earth...The unexplored ocean beds on earth, I'm sure, inhabit thousands of spellbinding life forms...

I can't stop praising those white 'Pure Soul Seeds' that looked like jelly fish medusas...and those 'Pink Spiral' polyps that shrank when touched; they appeared to me being very shy...I must see in 3D this time..

And the wonderland also included floating mountains amidst clouds...Sounds like a fantasy na..Therefore,I call this movie "A SCI-FI FAIRY TALE" ...All characters were well defined..and actors did full justice to their characters (oops! I mean the animation didn't look like animation)... In fact,the animated characters ,while running, gave the required effect on a planet with very little gravity force...they were like leaping so high and seemed light weighted...

" Pandora people look HOT " , I was thinking while watching...
"Oh my !!! a humanoid with blue skin, Zebra stripes,some phosphorescent spots, pointed ears, yellow cat-eyes and long plaited hair...looks so so stunning... how will my avatar look in that attire?"
And I kept on wondering how everyone else would look on Pandora...

I was busy admiring everything else except the special effects and technology used to make this a success..I can only say ' What photgraphy!!,What technogy!! '. May be when I go the Second time i'll be speculative about other things.. hehehe :)

Now I am thinking that amongst bollywood females Kareena Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Not Katreena, will be good options for palying roles in the Na'vi look . None of the bollywood actors have those looks except SALMAAN KHAN....May be John Abraham And Hrithik Roshan too...And definitely choreographer Terrence Lewis can look good as a Na'vi... :)

SET TO FACE THE WORLD...

This post was not created with the intension of publishing.I had commented on my friend's blog for she invited views on the topic "Eve -teasing, Molestation and Harassment".She wrote so effectively that I got filled with anger and expressed my views with this...Infact ,the impact was so much that I was discussing this topic whole day.

COMMENT TO MY FRIEND ON HER SUCCESS POST :

A very good attempt dear...but to how many boys it'll reach? Those who'll hv access to such articles are less likely to be of the 'cheap ' catergory....I think the root cause of such misbehavior lies in the upbringing manner...A child gains most of the habbits and thoughts in his young stages from:-
1).His family
2).His environment like,school,colony,village,town,whereever he goes..etc.
3).His friends or the company in which he gets.

It all lies in the mindset of a male.Most of us will agree that eve-teasing and molestation have been 99% times initiated by males from lower backgrounds.

From my experience I can conclude that there are many towns in India where the typical male-female biasness persists;where females hv to be in 'ghoonghat' all the time;where the FREEDOM of a WOMAN has been curbed;where education is there but literacy is not;where the less educated mothers later in their lives forget to teach their sons the right values;where society only claims to hv been progressing wt time but ,from inside, the mentality remains orthodox....In such areas men make fun of any women they come across and boast it amongst their peers...Elderly men drink and misbehave and nobody is present to stop them...A woman has no option but to just shut her mouth because she has been taught by her OWN elders that men are such by nature (What an excuse to hide ones' son's mistakes !!!!!!! DISGUSTING) ...She lives her life sulking and assuming it to be her destiny.....

In the cities ,on the other hand, women are becoming smarter and are ready to raise their voices against such crimes...but people in cities are not bothered for strangers...so even in a public place a girl is actually ALONE....Crime from the North region of our nation is spreading to the South ....

I think it'll take generations for men to understand what a DISGRACE they bring to their OWNSELVES and also to the Nation.

I want to share a bit of information with all.The Delhi Police has a separate branch for the women named as CRIME AGAINST WOMEN CELL. This body protects women and also provides solutions to their problems.They conduct work-shops from time to time to train women so that they are able to fight tough situations.Anybody who needs their help can get their helpline no. from their website.

ONLY and ONLY if women face BOLDLY and INTELLIGENTLY ,will this problem end.By this ,I don't mean that we have to react on every experience...But I mean that we have to be smart enough NOT TO GIVE ANYBODY ANY CHANCE to tease us or take advantage of us...

For the post I must say, "RACHANA great going, it requires courage to speak for all"...and PRIYANKA," very well done."

Few very important points that were somewhere in me and I wanted to mention but could not ,my friend has very beautifully written and replied me in the following manner....

Very much I agree, Madhu!
And it’s sad that this message can’t go long way…perhaps I only wish it should as it is the call of the day.

The upbringing has to be from the family absolutely. The family must teach the child the IMPORTANCE OF WOMAN in our life and UNCONDITIONAL RESPECT they deserve. The biased thought hampers so much throughout the generations. And the core need to BASIC ETIQUETTES is ignored.

But it’s not just the lower background people only involved in such acts. In fact, the rich brats are also equally to be blamed. Don’t you remember every year we often hear from different parts of the country how rich father’s young boys in the New Year party misbehave with the girls!

I liked the way you compared the small towns and city people with apt correct info that presents the state of their minds due to strange prejudices followed.

Good you have mentioned about the CRIME AGAINST WOMEN CELL, this shall help many in their odd times. Such cell should be extended to each and very corners of the city throughout the country.

Very much we need to act intelligently bold and catch hold tight those collars who take a chance of our innocence!

Thank you so much for your introspection of the post and presenting your personal strong thoughts and enlightening this post and our views.

Keep the spark ALive..

So, now after so much of discussion and knowing about others' stories,I finally conclude that

"Not all men are the same,

But all women long for a name;

The city,town or village doesn't matter,
But the upbringing can be responsible for a life to be shattered;

RESPECT the fairer sex you men ,
Why are you scared of letting HER go ahead?;

Watch out !!! for the day has come ,
When GOD's most beautiful creation is all set to make you dumb ."
